Installation art piece made at Sonic College about agriculture and consumer consciousness. Consists of an installation, and a video to watch beforehand.
Collaborative project, hence why I am listed as partially credited.
The sounds were a blend of recordings from a pig farm, a surgery room, with an actual surgery taking place, as well as various other mechanical sounds. The video piece (0:00) was shown to people before they entered the installation room (1:10).
My job was mainly working on the installation itself, which is a cool box containing various light and proximity sensors, hooked up to an Arduino board. This is controlling a Max/MSP Ableton Live project, containing the audio. The installation has three states, which all fade between each other. One when being far away from the box, one when being near, and one when the box is open.
